La Fundación Casa Pintada is an emerging cultural project strengthened by the collaboration of La Fundación Cristóbal Gabarrón and el Ayuntamiento de Mula. Situated in one of the most distinguished and decorated houses of the town, La Casa Pintada known for its exceptional decor, provides a detailed look at the career of the Spanish artist Cristóbal Gabarrón, while being a permanent showcase of the new creativity of Murcia.
This concrete reality that has permitted the return to Mula of one of its most internationally recognized artists hopes to establish itself as both the pillar and beacon of the region’s culture, while at the same time as a benchmark of all cultures that traditionally have been present in this region, all under the prism and humanism of the artist Cristóbal Gabarrón, an example of the knowledge necessary for other present-day cultures.
